Return Policy

Our Guarantee
Melika designs and manufactures quality, handmade swimwear in Hood River, Oregon. We work hard to make sure that each piece exceeds your expectations. However, due to the nature of our production process, some items might have minor defects or stitching issues. We stand behind our product and will happily replace any items that prove to be defective.

We will repair or replace any defective item within one calendar year of the date of purchase. If a replacement item is not available we will issue store credit in the amount of the original purchase price. For any issues with defective product, please contact us at retailstore@melika.com and provide description of the issue and photo of the defective item, if possible.

Return & Exchange Policy
Melika reserves the right to refuse the package and/or return to sender should the merchandise not meet these requirements.  Please contact us if you have any questions.

  • Returns received within 21 days of the original ship date may be exchanged or credited against the original form of payment.
  • Returns received beyond 21 days of the original ship date will be returned for exchange or store credit only.
  • Items purchased in our Hood River retail store are eligible for exchange or store credit only.
  • All sale items are FINAL SALE ONLY. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on sale items.

All Returns & Exchanges must meet the following requirements

  • Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged and unused.
  • Merchandise must be free of make-up, deodorant, or any other stains.
  • Merchandise must have all original tags and accessories attached.
  • The protective hygienic slip must not be removed from swimwear.
  • The package must be received within twentyone (21) days of the original ship date.

Please Note

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, except in the case of errors made by Melika.
  • You may return web orders in person at our Hood River retail store.
  • Returns/exchanges are processed within 5 business days.
  • You will be notified via email once your return/exchange has processed.
  • If the item requested for exchange is unavailable, a store credit will be issued. 

Return & Exchange Process

If you created an account on our website:
Log in to your account, and under Recent Orders, click View next to the order you would like to return.

At the bottom of the page, select “Return Item(s).” You will be prompted to select the item(s) you wish to return, a reason for your return, and the type of refund you would like. If you would like to exchange for a different item, please write the details in the comments section. Press Send.

Package the merchandise with the original packing slip and ship within twentyone (21) days of the original ship date to:

We strongly recommend that you obtain tracking or delivery confirmation for your package.  Melika is not responsible for lost or misdirected returns and exchanges.

Once the return/exchange safely arrives at Melika, we will inspect the item(s).  Any merchandise that does not meet the requirements of our Return Policy will not be accepted.  (See Return & Exchange Policy.)  Please allow 3-5 business days for your return/exchange to be processed.
